2FACE MEETS THE DEPUTY GOVERNOR

2Face visited the Government House and intimated the Deputy Governor Amb. Ignatius Longjan, of the MVP project and ‘2Face Peace Awards’. The Deputy welcomed 2Face and his team on behalf of the governor who he said was out of the country.

2Face said: “I’m so honoured to be here. Today is my birthday and I decided to come here to start from where I actually started. Peace doesn’t just happen; we really have to talk about it.
“This project is going to be like a reorientation of the mind set of Nigerians to realise the senselessness in the in many of the conflicts and killings going on and let them know that peace is the only condition for progress.
“Most times when they tell you the reason for some of the conflicts, you will be very surprised and disappointed,” he said.

The Deputy Governor while addressing 2Face and his crew explained that the governor, Jonah Jang, was out of the country and welcomed the party on his behalf.
He said that the main investment in Plateau was now peace and that anyone who came to preach peace in the land was welcome. He called 2Face, “Our Man”.


“What you are doing is recognised globally. It’s not confined to Nigeria or Plateau; it is for the whole world. You are not a stranger because you were born here and you are part of plateau state. I welcome you to your home,” Longjan said.
“People say that Jos and Plateau are no go areas but that is not correct. You have seen it yourself and we are appealing to you to tell the whole world about what is happening here. Peace has come back to Plateau and we want you to add you own to it being a citizen of Plateau. You are welcome,” he told 2Face.
